Lindrum — the MAN, and his four figure breaks
By W. G. Clifford Recognised as one of the leading Billiards and Snooker Authorities of the day, our contributor writes with force and upon fact….
Walter Lindrum (29 August 1898 – 30 July 1960) was an Australian professional English billiards player who held the title of world champion professional billiards player from 1933 until his retirement in 1950. Lindrum is the author of a significant number of records in English billiards. He did not participate in professional snooker tournaments, which has led to the assumption that he was not adept at the game. However, his record of breaks of 139, 135, 133, 129 and 128 points refutes this notion.
