Game variations

From its inception to the present day, this magnificent game has not only spawned numerous variations that have been repeatedly heralded as a replacement for classic snooker, but has also served as the basis for the creation of other games. Some variations were exotic and have since been forgotten. Others have survived to this day and are still played in clubs (Savile snooker) or in certain countries (e.g. Century in Pakistan, Sinuca in Brazil, American Snooker in the USA, etc.). There have been variants that have almost replaced classic snooker (Volunteer Snooker, Australian Snooker, Pari-Snooker, Snooker Plus, etc.). There is virtually no information about these variants in the press today. Therefore, we have undertaken the task of collecting all mentions of snooker variants in all the years since its inception.
