Two Cups

The next open night to be held by the Circle is on March 14, when the finalists, Mrs. Ella Morris and Miss Sadie Isaacs, will compete for the Hospital Cup. This cup, with a replica which is kept by the winner, is competed for annually, and is presented by the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, to whose funds the proceeds of the evening go.

This year there is another cup to be competed for, too—the Snooker Cup, which Mrs. Ella Morris, former amateur Welsh Women’s Snooker champion is presenting for the best snooker player—for which she herself does not, of course, compete.
