“Come to-night, my friend,” said Mr. Topping, joyfully, “at seven. We have a universal confession on to-night, when all the brethren admit their sins. Mr. Snooker, a very god man in the hardware line, will open it with the backslidings of his wife and family, who love junketing and feastings, tickets for the house of wickedness, the theatre, and will not be turned in the right way.”
