Tooth Fairy
Life is so daily in Cincinnati. By Mary Pledge Peterson. 2012
THE MOVIE TOOTH FAIRY IS IN TOWN. Each sighting of the promotion touches a place where losses dwell. For years, three minutes of the zany radio escapades of the Tooth Fairy (Norton Snookers), Nurse Durkin, and Dr. Armadingo were part of our afternoons. When WVXU was sold, the Tooth Fairy was lost in the shuffle. The new WVXU format became NPR, informative, serious, intellectual, no-nonsense.
There was once a list in Good Housekeeping titled “Little things that mean a lot.” It included “Make sure the tooth fairy always arrives.”
Other Tooth Fairy fans and I miss him. It was a little thing that meant a lot.
