A Record Snooker Shot

A Harrogate correspondent tells me that in a game of snooker at the Libera! Club, Mr. J. W. Burgess shopped five reds in one stroke, and he wants to know if this is a record. The most reds I have ever seen shopped in one stroke is three, and I should say that Mr. Burgess’s five at one stroke must, easily be a record. I should have liked to see the shot and make a diagram of it, for such a shot, I imagine, must be unique. If anyone can beat this I shall be pleased to hear from them.
