Tuesday.—Long discussion over now roles. Generally approved, but everybody wants a new one. Mons, says, “No akter who spiks broken Eengleesh should be admeeted as a member.” Quite right. Uncle Ned thinks non-members might be admitted to play Snooker on the roof. Uncle Andrew says no subscriptions should ever be paid before August at earliest, and by bill at six months then.
