LEAGUE OF COMRADESHIP. —There was a distinct increase in the attendance at the meeting of the League of Comradeship in Mill Lane Church rooms on Saturday. An interesting lecture was given by the Vicar, Rev. C. M. Oswell on “Capital Punishment” Mr. Walter Maw was the soloist. Mr. J. W. Dawson presided. Mr. G. Snooker presided at the weekly meeting of the Christian Endeavour Society when an address was given by Mr. C. Haigh, J.P. Solos were sung by Mr. Irving Chambers.
