Snooker fancy

We were pleased to hear that the truly elegant Stand was complimented by a Large assemblage of rank and fashion; and the numbers on the ground, and the booths, the carriages, &c., spoke greatly for the “garden scenery,” to which this course is indebted for a “leading feature.” We prefix the prices on the Holyoake Stakes of to-morrow. It would be superfluous to touch upon the “Snooker fancy” of to-day — he was backed at 1 to 4.
