Women’s Amateur Snooker Championship.
Miss Margaret Quinn, a thirteen years and eleven months old pupil at Peekham Central School, won the women’s amateur snooker championship at the Women’s Billiards Circle, London on Thursday.
In the final she defeated Miss Irene Murkett (Wakefield) a 22-year-old player by three games to nil—40-28, 45-27, 45-32.
