BRIGHTON SENSATION
Reynolds’s Newspaper, Sunday 27 July 1924
A sensation has been caused in Brighton by the death of Mr. Harry Ellis Brown, who was found by his daughter in his bedroom shot, with a revolver by his side.
He was the treasurer of the Brighton Deep Sea Anglers’ Club, and was affectionately known as “Snooker.” Save for severe dental trouble he was not known to have any worries.
The inquest will be held to-morrow.
