Cat. Snooker. Penistone, Stocksbridge and Hoyland Express, Saturday 25 November 1933
BARBARA HALL, Chapeltown.
I’m very glad to hear from you, Barbara, after the rather long silence. How’s the cooking? I expect you will be proficient enough now to tackle a Christmas pudding. Barbara confesses that though I have not heard from her lately, she talks a lot about me. I must remember that, Barbara, the next time my ears tingle. Barbara has a new pet, a “sweet little kitten.” Molly’s black “Snooker” is jealous of it. I’m very well, Barbara. Thanks for the enquiry. My kindest regards to Molly and George. I hope both are doing well, Molly at Sheffield, George at Ecclesfield, I remember.
