Our two-year-olds will have to “snooker” this young lady
Otago Witness, 22 September 1892
The Memphis filly by Nelson has been christened Abydos, and the Titania filly by St. Leger has received the name of Lady Moth. I learn that Mr Morrin’s foalings are Bianca, a filly by Hotchkiss, also Rose and Black a lovely colt to Tasman; and that the Musket mare Vivid has thrown a colt to Castor. Colonel Roche has a beautiful filly named Cobweb, by Ingomar from Titania. She will, I understand, make her appearance at our Summer meeting. She is under the charge of Fred Hennings, who reckons her a rare flyer. The best of our two-year-olds will have to “snooker” this young lady.
