’Twas he who taught us Snooker Pool

A TRUE PISCATORIAL YARN.
[By Jack O’Lantern.]
They were two “merry” fishermen,
And one,whose name was Frank,
Was good for every saucy trick.
Or any playful prank.
I knew him in the days of old,
A careless, six-foot child,
We thought he was a saint on earth,
An angel, when he smiled.
’Twas he who taught us Snooker Pool
The mysteries of Loo,
He lightened all our hearts with mirth,
And oft, our pockets, too.
