SLOSH

“SLOSH.”
A new game of billiards, which is a variant of ordinary billiards and snooker pool, is being much played at some of the London clubs It is known as “slosh,” and consists in making cannons with the white ball on, or potting and going in off, various coloured balls. But, in the case of either losing or winning hazards, the white ball or coloured ball must go into the particular pocket allocated for it. It is possible to make wonderfully big and flattering breaks at “slosh,” and it is certainly great sport. At one well known St. James’s club they are now in the midst of an exciting “slosh” handicap. with a pretty valuable sweepstake attached.
