Comical Walker and Snooker

BRONCHO BILL.
Not the least of the Whitsuntide attractions in Lancaster was Broncho Bill’s circus, which gave two of their renowned performances on Tuesday, to crowded audiences of children and adults. The comic element was well sustained by “Comical Walker and Snooker,” who kept the children in roars of laughter. There were some remarkably clever turns, including Mons. Walker (rolling globe), Miss Lina and “Snooker,” wire dancers; horse and ballet dancer; Shamrock and Queenie, performing cobs; a five horse pedestal act and the six spot horses, whilst the wonderful performing elephants were a “star” turn in themselves. Chas. Ellis did wonderful things on a horse and the Mizuno Troupe (Japanese entertainers) were really marvellous.
It is not necessary to go to Wembley to see a wild-west exhibition, for the lassoing, rope spinning, etc., by cowboys was intensely interesting, and the display of trick rifle shooting by Van Niekerk, and whip stock cracking by John Regan and Montane Frank are probably unequalled in the world.
The performances are unique throughout, and exhibit splendid showmanship, management and extraordinary talent.
