SHORT COURT LIST.
Three cases were down for hearing at the Morecambe Borough Police Court, which was held on Tuesday. Mr. S. Wright presided, and the justices present were Mrs. Downham, Major Hogarth, and Messrs. T. Atkinson, C. A. Brockbank, J. G. Gardner, and F. Ellis.
Mr. Stanley Tennant, of Osborne-road, Morecambe, was granted the temporary transfer of the licence of the Mason’s Arm, Queen-street.
William Sutcliffe, of Ashton-road, was charged with leaving a horse and landau unattended in Marine-road on the 18th.
P.C. Snooker stated that the horse was unattended for a period of three quarters of an hour. On making his appearance and being spoken to, the defendant replied “I’ve only been having a gill.”
Defendant, who pleaded guilty, was fined 10s.
