A SNOOKER HINT
Modern Man, Saturday 10 December 1910
Very many men play snooker, and incidentally lose not inconsiderable sums of money in the process, for the reason that they forget the one great point in snooker tactics.
This is to play not so much to score yourself as to prevent the man who follows you from scoring.
Try either to “snooker” him or to leave him an impossible shot, and you will not only find that he will give you points, but that he will be often forced to leave you easy strokes.
