Men’s Club
Circular Head Chronicle, (Stanley, Tasmania), Wednesday 12 January 1916
To the Editor.
Sir.—The letter in your last issue advocating the formation of a Men’s Club was on the right track and to the point. Whose duty is it to convene a meeting for the purpose? I think it should emanate from our worthy town councillors or the warden through them. Hoping to see something done, and that in the near future. We cannot all go to the war, even if willing, and surely we could combine to make a recreative club in our midst.—Yours, etc.,
