This was the most amusing race of the evening. Every description of animal was entered. Blue Bonnet was looked up on as the prize winner and well backed, but he was only able to secure the second place. Wagtail led for a short distance but was collared by Appy Thought on coming down the hill. Snooker was well ridden, and passed the tent amidst loud applause.
