BRYN-Y-PYS COURSING.
An excellent day’s coursing was enjoyed over Major Peel’s estate to-day. In the Royton Stakes, Fitzpatrick and Chitty Bang Bang divided. The former got so far because Thalia II, was so hard to run in her course against Woodthorpe Clinker that she was withdrawn. In the Sesswick Hunt, Major Peel’s Bryn Hustler ran two very polished trials, and divided with Mr. Minoprio’s Minden, whilst in the Eyton Stakes Childe Harold, the property of Mr. Charles Clover, divided with Woodthorpe Snooker. Mr. Wing’s kennel had another prominent one in the Dee Stakes, as Woodthorpe Ginger, after first beating the local Mischievous Minnie, divided with Harborina. The Darland Stakes went to Bess of Bryntirion and Denet, the property of the Messrs. Dennis.
