Eastleigh parish hall boused an enthusiastic audience on Monday evening, when a talented concert was riven by the members of the Eastleigh Girls’ Friendly Society. The programme consisted of songs, recitations and dancing, and there were also three short sketches which were very well played by candidates, members and associates of the G.F.S. During an interval the Rev. A. Orton urged the members to advertise the existence of the G.F.S. and to do all they could to increase the membership and gain more support locally. Miss L. Clark, local secretary, assisted by Miss G. Snooker, was responsible for the arrangements.
