Charlton Conservative Club.—The Married v. Single members met in a football match on Saturday at Fossdene Field. The match, which was in aid of the funds of the Black-heath and Charlton Cottage Hospital, was won by the Single side, 3—1. The teams were announced as follows: —Single: Goal, The Original Mac; backs, Snooker Jim and Big Bill; halves, Modest Edgar, The Mug, and Silent George; forwards, Graveyard Bert, The Scrapper, Hot Ted, Lincoln Imp and B. the Blinker. Married: Goal, Limerick; backs, Jim the Juggler and Sid the Spooner; halves, Bonnie Scot, Chatham and Scotch Arthur; forwards, Bob the Flyer, Physical Arthur, Marv, Snappy George and John the Fireman.
