The Express column of football telegrams and pigeongrams was good reading last Saturday.

The reports are much more comprehensive than they used to be and not so amateurish. The style used to be like this:—”The Groggers kicked off, and the ball being well returned, the game ended in a win for the Snookers by 3 tries to nil”
