The restrictions are the exclusion of pyramids, pool, or snooker
Evesham Standard & West Midland Observer, Saturday 09 April 1892
It is at last settled that there shall be a billiard table at the Evesham Institute. A committee has collected a sum of money, the Council has agreed to put something to it, and the basement of the building is to become a centre of restricted dissipation at sixpence or eightpence per hundred. The restrictions are the exclusion of pyramids, pool, or snooker; bets on the game strictly prohibited.
