Double-Snooker
Saw Tom Newman demonstrate a new game, called double-snooker, at Selfridges yesterday.
The idea in brief is an extra set of coloured balls placed in black circles on the table. After the usual red and colour have been sunk, the player is entitled to have a shot at the corresponding colour in the circle.
A score with this ball counts double. A miss means forfeiting the points scored by the potting of the first colour. Circle balls by the way are entirely optional. Quite an interesting game but personally, one red, one colour is difficult enough for me and I imagine tor most snooker players.
