A PADSTOW CONCERT.
“IMPS” IN FINE FORM.
Under the auspices of the Padstow branch of the Junior Imperial and Constitutional League, a concert was given in the Public Rooms on Wednesday evening last. The hall was crowded and the many interesting and amusing items presented by the young people were all well received and thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed.
“The lmps Whisper”- a stentorian one-was the opening chorus, by the Imp pierrots, and proved a good earnest of the many tit-bits to follow. A sketch, “The Old Friend,” by the Misses Fay Harvey (fairy), Mary O’Keefe (arm-chair), Mabel Wright (Mrs. Modger), Master Jack O’Keefe (Mr. Snooker) and junior Imps (fairies) was well given, as was “The Army A.B.C.” by the senior Imps.
