This section brings together books by contemporary authors, generously made available for free download in PDF format. Most of them are devoted to snooker, though not exclusively so. Other branches of cue sports find their place here as well, in various forms and perspectives. After all, snooker is but one variation of a much older and broader tradition — a game that began, quite simply, with a table, a green cloth, a set of coloured balls, and a rather persistent human urge to put them in motion.
