“April Showers,” the musical comedy which is being presented at the Empire this week by Osborne Productions, had a splendid reception on Monday night. There is not a big cast of principals—only seven—but they are all artistes who have made a name for themselves in the revue world, and bring to the piece a distinct cleverness born of long experience.
Mr. Barry Barnes as “Snooker,” a man of many parts, and Mr. Teddy Williams as “Scooper,” set a merry pace early on, and they keep the ball rolling right to the end …
