Reminiscences of Tom Taylor

This book is a reprint of a series of articles contributed to “The New World of Billiards” (October 2, 1907—September 30, 1908) by Mr. Tom Taylor, one of the best known of money-match players in the ‘seventies and ‘eighties. His experiences are typical of the billiard surroundings which bred the older school of professional cuemen; his times were those when a living had to be earned at the game by theexercise of one’s wit as much as any individual skill.
