In this book I propose to give my readers a lesson in the art of break making. This is where the average amateur fails so lamentably. Thousands of people play billiards all their lives without knowing how to make a break, and this is why they never become good players. They can make plenty of individual strokes, but the one stroke is enough for them, after that the balls may go where luck takes them.
