Billiards made easy

Most works on Billiards are either too technical or too elementary. An attempt is here made to meet the requirements of all players, whether tyros or professors; and to produce a treatise which, while sufficiently scientific, is thoroughly practical. Such diagrams only as are actually necessary have been introduced, though they might have been multiplied indefinitely, without showing more than they really do show—the principle of the play and of the several hazards.
