Billiards in the 20th Century

Although my friend W. G. Clifford has written the billiards books of most of the leading professionals, I believe that Reece’s is the only one which bears the real author’s name as well as the professional’s.

I presume that when a professional engages Clifford to write a book for him, he discusses with him the subjects which are to appear in it, or gives him a rough draft of them. At the same time, judging from results, I should imagine that Clifford is given all the latitude he desires, except on debatable subjects, such as the eternal transmitted-side question.
